I dreamed of the Prophet Muhammad

I am a Muslim man. I dreamed of the prophet Muhammad (Blessings and peace be upon him) but not in his exact shape that we know. Is it a good true dream or not?

Answer: In the authentic Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and peace be upon him): “Whoever sees me (in a dream) has seen me truly, as the devil does not take my shape”. 

Many Muslim scholars said that one should see the Prophet exactly as he was described; i.e., in his true and real shape, otherwise the dream will be false. On the contrary, other scholars said that seeing the Prophet in a dream in a different shape could be true or false. But there is a probability that it might be also true and having special meanings, yet it will be weaker than seeing him in a dream in his exact shape (Blessings and peace be upon him).
