Does crying in some dreams mean joy?
Crying is one of the common symbols and events in the world of sleep visions and dreams.
The form of this crying may vary, sometimes strong, sometimes weak, sometimes with or without voice, and sometimes the sensation of tears in the eyes is so intense that the Muslim wakes up and finds himself crying with tears in his eyes.
Crying in some dreams can indicate remorse, repentance, or a warning of punishment from Allah for those who do not want to repent, especially if the dreamer has many sins and transgressions and if the context of the vision and its events also imply this meaning
However, in some dreams, crying may be due to an injustice or harm done to the dreamer for which he is not at fault.
In this case, the interpreter does not interpret the crying as remorse and repentance because this meaning is not appropriate in this context. However, the opposite meaning is applied and the crying is interpreted as a symbol of joy.
The reason for this interpretation is that the true vision is from Allah Almighty and it is good news for the believer that the situation will be good and the injustice will be lifted, so the meaning of tears is reversed here to an interpretation that fits with these divine laws. This is also due to the fact that joy in reality may also be expressed with tears.
The rule of interpreting a dream in the opposite sense is a great rule and has extensive Islamic principles and applications.
Allah, the Almighty, knows best.
