Question
What does it mean if a Muslim young man had a dream of the sun rising from the west?! I am afraid it could be a warning dream.
Answer
Dreaming of the sun rising from the west is not a rare dream, yet strange. Many other Muslims had such a dream in several forms.
Although, this dream could have various meanings that differ according to the circumstances of every dreamer (that is why I ask people about themselves before I interpret their dreams), but I can tell you that this dream is mostly a warning that you should repent from sins.
My interpretation is based on the Hadith of the prophet Muhammad (May peace and blessings be upon him):
“He who repents before the sun rises from the west, Allah will forgive him”. [Sahih Muslim].
The prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said too:
“The Hour [the day of Resurrection] will not happen until the sun rises from the West: and when the people see it, then whoever will be living on the surface of the earth will have faith, and that is (the time) when no good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before”. [Sahih Al-Bukhary]

Islamic Dream Interpretation and Ruqyah 
I had the exact dream a few days ago. I was at my home in my village (Karak). The sun went down really fast and then came up again, I didn’t noticed at first, but after a few seconds before I started praying Asar I realized that I have already prayed. It shocked me and when I saw to my right, I saw a red sun rising from the west just after it went down. I knew what that meant and It was a the most scariest thing I remember in all my dreams. I lost my voice. But the weird thing was that nobody else noticed. They were busy in their work. I couldn’t speak, so I was pointing them towards the sun but they were not looking at kept doing their work.
Recently I am struggling a lot repenting and coming close to Allah. I am trying to fight the shaitan and my nafs. Sometimes I am successful and sometimes I am not. This has not been easy for me cuz all the surroundings and my past life. I am still trying to make changes and get better day by day.
