- For a righteous Muslim, fear in a dream may indicate safety and security from what he fears.
Allah says: “So do not fear them, but fear Me, if you are believers.” (Qur’an 3:175) - Fear in a dream may symbolize the fear of Allah and the promise of Paradise.
Allah says: “But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens.” (Qur’an 55:46) - For a corrupt person, fear in a dream could indicate that he is following the footsteps of Satan.
Allah says: “It is only Satan who frightens his supporters.” (Qur’an 3:175) - Fear of Allah in a dream may also represent knowledge and wisdom.
Allah says: “It is only those who have knowledge among His servants that fear Allah.” (Qur’an 35:28) - A dream in which one feels the absence of fear, or the end of fear, may symbolize entering Paradise.
Allah says: “So they will have no fear, nor will they grieve.” (Qur’an 2:38) - Fear of something in a dream can serve as a warning about its danger or the danger of what it represents, urging the dreamer to pay attention and be cautious.
- Fear may also symbolize Allah’s mercy in easing matters for the believer.
For example, in the case of fear during battle, Islam permits shortening the prayer. - Fear in a dream can indicate divine punishment or hardships such as hunger.
